Fri May 29 |
New Swimmer Evaluations/ INperson Sign-Ups/ Swim Swap Donations
Anna City Pool
Start: 5:00 PM
End: 6:00 PM
Evaluations are ONLY for new swimmers. You can come to either night anytime between 5-6pm. Potential new swimmers are required to swim across the pool (25 Meters) from the 5ft end to the deep end. Swimmers may swim anyway they know how and can stop as many times as nessecary. We are looking to see the level or your child's swimming and the level of their ability to stay calm in the water. Once your swimmer completes the 25 meters, a coach will tell you whether or not your swimmer is on the team and which practice to attend. An advanced swimmer/coach will be in the water with any potential new swimmer during evaluations. One salaried coach will also be walking next to the wall during the entirety of your potential new swimmers evaluation. Water safety is our first priority. Potential new swimmers will need to bring a towel, goggles, swimsuit, and if your child has long/longer hair their hair will need to be tied out of their face or in a swim cap. Once your child completes their swim, your family may leave. If you cannot attend either night of evaluations, just email or message the Anna Blue Dolphins email or facebook page. We can setup alternative times. |

Union County Fair - Kiwanis Shift
Kiwanis @ Union County Fair
Start: 5:00 PM
End: 8:00 PM
This season Kiwanis has requested additional help from our team during the evening hours of the Union County Fair. Our team will help maintain their dining room and take orders. The children will be expected to wipe down tables and trays, as well as maintain general tidiness of the room. Adults and children aged 14 and up will work behind the counter taking orders and payments. Kiwanis is a proud supporter of the Anna Blue Dolphin, please take the time to show our appreciation by signing up for a shift or two! |
