Your swimmer may have qualified for the 2026 SISL All-Star Meet in Effingham, IL on Saturday, August 1, 2026!

To qualify for the All-Star Meet, swimmers had to place 8th or better at the SISL Championship Meet—an incredible accomplishment! Congratulations to all our  swimmers on earning this honor.

Event Selections

Each qualified swimmer may compete in:

• Up to 4 individual events
• 1 relay (if selected)

There are 5 individual events available:

• Freestyle
• Backstroke
• Breaststroke
• Butterfly
• Individual Medley (IM)

Please email me as soon as possible with the FOUR individual events your swimmer would like to swim. I will submit event entries once I have everyone's selections.

Practices

This year's All-Star team will be coached by Jonathan Kraus, Head Coach of the Herrin Tigersharks.

Practices will be held at the Marion Pool Monday through Friday.

Practice Times

• 10 & Under: 8:30–9:30 AM
• 11 & Older: 8:30 AM–approximately 10:00 AM

Coach Jonathan will also be selecting the relay teams.

Additional Practice Opportunities

Attached are self-guided practice plans for swimmers who need it. Anna Blue Dolphins swimmers may use the Anna Pool for free during lap swim 5:00–5:50 PM throughout the week.

Congratulations again on an outstanding championship performance! Qualifying for the All-Star Meet is a tremendous achievement, and I look forward to our swimmers representing the Southern Illinois Swim League in Effingham.

Please send me your swimmer's four individual event choices as soon as possible so entries can be finalized.
